There’s plenty going on in the actual Glacier Beat novel, with lots of familiar and favourite characters working together to find a missing geologist. No spoilers here, but I can reveal that it is set in Greenland! 😉

Geeking out in Legoland (a few years ago) on Star Wars Day!
There’s still plenty of activity on the sea ice in May (2007) but it’s starting to get a little “interesting” for the Europeans!

It’s not the easiest thing to explain, but the sight of dogs bottoms is perhaps the best sight in the world. Dogs bottoms means I am sitting, sitting on the sledge! Dogs bottoms means that it’s working, that we’re running. Rather the dogs are running. And I am sitting!
It took a few years to get to this point, but damn! It was the proverbial dog’s bottom… All four of them!

Another publishing milestone! As you can see above, there are now 10 French editions of the Greenland Missing Persons series, all thanks to the wonderful work of Françoise Chardonnier. There are actually a few more that are almost ready for publication, but these are the first ten in the series Bureau des Personnes disparues au Groenland.
It sounds fabulous in French! 😉
Le Voleur de Roches should be live most places by now and I’m excited to see what French-speaking readers think of it.
