Wolf Crimes (Omnibus Edition #1)

By Christoffer Petersen

Wolf Crimes (Omnibus Edition #1)
Omnibus

The wolf. No animal on earth can trigger such a range of human emotions as the wolf. Find out why in this trilogy of wolf novels rooted in fact, fear and recent events.

The Wolf Crimes Omnibus Edition collects three previously published books: Paint the Devil, Lost in the Woods, and Chernobyl Wolves. All three books are available separately.

Paint the Devil: The Wolf in Denmark
As the wolf debate heats up during Denmark’s hottest and driest summer on record, wildlife biologist Jon Østergård and his teenage daughter relocate to the West Jutland village of Thyrup, to study problem wolves in a community divided by fear, belief, opinions and violence.

Jon quickly discovers that his experience of wolves in Greenland means nothing in a farming community fighting to have their voice heard in an increasingly divisive national debate.

Pressed by politicians demanding an objective report on one side, and locals on the other, Jon risks losing his way as the debate turns ugly, and his daughter is drawn into a family convinced that extreme action is necessary to protect their livelihood.

Sporadic wildfires flare up in the surrounding countryside, and the flames force a small pack of wolves closer and closer to the village.

Arctic Noir meets Scandinavian Crime in this thrilling novel inspired by recent events.

Lost in the Woods: The Wolf in Alaska
When his daughter goes missing in Alaska, a wildlife biologist must track a wolf pack if he is to rescue her from a gang of predators.

The Danish summer of the wolf has left its mark on Emma Østergård, so when she decides she needs time and space to recover, Jon agrees for her to visit Alaska. But when Emma’s path crosses that of an alpha wolf, Jon must assist the Alaska State Troopers to help them find his daughter before the real predators cover their tracks.

Lost in the Woods continues the story of wolf biologist Jon Østergård and his teenage daughter, Emma. Several characters from Paint the Devil (book 1) return to continue the drama of what happens when the paths and territories of wolves and men are crossed.

Lost in the Woods is set in Denmark and Alaska, blending Arctic Noir with Scandinavian Crime.

Chernobyl Wolves: The Wolf in Ukraine
When a wolf biologist goes missing in Ukraine, Jon agrees to finish his colleague’s research before the wolves leave the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. But as the research project implodes, Jon discovers that there is more than one kind of wolf in Chernobyl.

When Jon goes missing, and the authorities refuse to search for him, Emma Østergård defies the Danish government and enters the Exclusion Zone to find her father.

Chernobyl Wolves is the third book in Christoffer Petersen’s series of eco-crime thrillers following Paint the Devil and Lost in the Woods. If you like books that twist fact into fiction then you’ll love Christoffer Petersen’s radioactive thriller.
