[From Substack] On this day, {September 5] 2026, I’m excited to say I’ve published something. I’ve been working on the idea of publishing a magazine full of my own stories for several years, but never really got anywhere. In light of everything going on with the health of family and friends, and even my own health (serious-ish, but thankfully manageable and now under control), I decided to just go for it. So, The Narwhal is LIVE!
This fictional ezine (digital only) includes previously published novellas and stories, plus serialised chapters of existing novels and works in progress. It also features a column written by Petra, and flash fiction featuring Luui. Set shortly after We Shall Be Monsters, I have plans for Petra’s column, and while it may start off dark, I’ll be working towards the more upbeat tone we know her for in the future.
As for Luui?
Well, all bets are off, I’m afraid. There’s no taming the shaman’s daughter. And, with Cargo at her side (if you know, you know), All manner of things might happen. 😉
