Apparently, you’re not meant to share your dirty laundry in public. Fortunately, these nickers etc. are clean! I always smile when I find photos of our laundry among our Greenland photos. I think about all the energy used to dry clothes and how most people wouldn’t hang clothes outside to dry in winter. Well, the air is so dry in Greenland that it leeches all the moisture out the clothes. I have previously posted pictures of my stiff pants – frozen, I hasten to add! – and how we knew our clothes were dry when they were no longer frozen. Just one of those “only in Greenland/Arctic” things, I guess.
Of course, Jane’s wearing gloves because her fingers will freeze to the metal if she doesn’t. 😉
