Looking back on it, I forget how difficult it was, but it felt like a good idea at the time! In 2009, while still living in Uummannaq, I started studying for a MA in Information Communication Technology and Learning from Aalborg University in Denmark. Spoiler alert, I got it, a few years later, but those dark days and nights during the winter were not always the most conducive to learning. The four hour time difference (then, not now – it’s changed) also made life interesting when corresponding online. Oh, and the price of the Internet made it even more interesting!
So, trawling through the hard drive, this photo is more of a nostalgic did I really do that? kind of thing.
Apparently, I did. 😉

Yeah, the things we do and then get amazed on how we actually pulled it off… which shows that the secret for doing whatever is: to just do it. If you think to much you’re just wasting time.
Don’t think! I like it. 🙂
Good for you! . . . and now you could TEACH the courses!
(How did they ‘change’ the four-hour time difference between Greenland and Denmark? Pull Greenland a few thousand miles closer??!)
Yep – huge sledge dog team and a really thick rope! Actually, I think it’s “going to happen”, meaning they won’t change the clocks this October. I think. 🙂
Ha Ha! Sledge dogs in wet suits! 😄
Don’t tempt me! 🙂
