I mention a witches’ peak mountain top in my Greenland stories – and several others that have nothing to do with Greenland. Well, the reason is in the photo above. I spent four years in Uummannaq, and every day, when the skies were clear, I saw this mountain: Qilertinnguit, nearly 2,000 metres high with… ta da! A witches’ peak.
Actually, it might not be a witches’ peak, as such, but I imagine it looks like the curve of the tip of a witches’ hat. 😉
