I’ve been busy and the short stories are backing up. 🙂 This is a good thing, of course. But I have a lot of content now, and I need a place to park it while I figure out what to do with it. 😉 The good news is I have an idea about that.
I’ve played around with different options for delivering paid content. I’ve settled on Patreon as a relatively simple way of providing access to short stories and additional content to monthly subscribers. Now, that might not be for everyone, but if you’re curious and want to know more and you like the idea of reading unpublished stories then this might just be for you.
Hold on to something… shameless links are “happening!”
I’ve put the link to my Patreon page in the menu at the top, but you can also click on it here.
So what do patrons get each month?
- 1 or more previously unpublished short stories – lightly edited
- posts about my writing with sneak peaks for upcoming releases
- surprise content (most likely another story or short piece of fiction)
- and related artwork/cover reveals
It’s not for everyone, but it allows me to “do something” with all my stories before I figure out exactly what I am going to do with them. If that makes sense. 😉 Patreon also gives me another means of fueling my writing with support from patrons.
Phew!
That’s it for now.
Chris
That’s a brilliant idea!
Thanks, Ana Catarina. I like the idea of offering something new on a different platform.
