“Nothing, not even a scratch.” She popped the cap on the phial. The viscous liquid steamed over the lip of the glass.
“D’you check my seals?”
She saw the poison beading his naked wrist.
A mini saga is a 50 word story (not including the title). I’ve had fun with these before. My recent teaching job was a good opportunity to rediscover this kind of writing. Love ’em or loathe ’em, there are more on the way!
