I’ve been struggling with this for a while… trying to do “something” with the tiny author name I have on my Greenland Missing Persons books. I thought about changing the bold colours, too. But the colours are almost as much a brand as the name.
Hmm…
I’m trying something.
Of course, if I go with it, and I think I will, then there’s an awful lot of covers to change. Here’s the first 10.
Being prolific can be a pain sometimes. 🙂

I think they look great! Go for it!
Too kind, Lee-Anne. Thank you! I’ve got a ways to go, but I’ve started. 🙂
Those look terrific, Chris! If I had to pick a favorite, I think I’d choose ‘The Banshee Palace’ – that just jumps out with its color and detail! (and the story was great, too!) 😊
Thanks, Dave. I like The Banshee Palace, too. It’s very green. 🙂 The real hut is at the tip of the big island closest to Uummannaq, and our first port of call each time we paddled across the fjord on our summer holidays. No one lives there, which, considering the story, is the whole point. 🙂
Did seeing that abandoned hut inspire the whole story? That’s pretty cool! I really like the angle of the photo – looking up at the ‘palace’ makes it seem to have an eerie potential! 😮
➡️ (just so you know, for some reason I am no longer receiving notifications when YOU post a reply, so sometimes there’s a big delay in MY responses when I fail to check in and hunt back through previous posts!)
I’m not sure the hut inspired the story as such, as it was many years later that I wrote the story. But who knows. Perhaps it has been festering for a while. 🙂 No worries about the delay, Dave. I’m very happy to read and respond to your comments whenever they tick in. The same has happened to me several times, and I no longer, for example, get alerts when I receive a comment. Weird. There’s a checkbox that needs checking – again – somewhere. 🙂 Thank you!
