The sun has final come out for a few days in a row and the pumpkins are going great guns. Now, I might have over done it, but I believe in redundancies. I’ve already seen a bunch of slugs in the garden and as I don’t use pesticides or repellents, I need to anticipate some crop losses.
Crops.
Love it!
It’s like I’ve become a farmer with my 20+ pumpkins and a handful of courgettes. Although I never did get around to planting potatoes as I had intended.

The six empty pots are the cherry trees. A bit of a long shot, but I had hoped they might sprout. Early days, perhaps, but I’m not as hopeful as I once was. But then, if they do sprout, it will be another ten years before I get anything out of them.
Planning for the future.
Patient as a saint, as they say. 😉
