Yep, I’m pitching for Patreon again. I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to list the stories patrons can read on my patreon page, and you’ve probably seen the lists of stories – different parts and total number of words, etc. Well, the list is getting longer and longer!
I was using the blogs as a means of tracking the stories. But I can do that in a spreadsheet and save your eyes. So, instead, I’m going to post the highlights of what’s coming each month and at what subscription tier.
I had previously toyed with the idea of making some stories exclusive, but I’ve been encouraged to release them as eBooks*, which I have started to do. So this list could also be seen as a teaser for the short stories, novellas, and novels to come.
*Patrons read them first, and receive an eBook copy of the stories published on Patreon during the active months of their subscription. Stories from the different tiers can be read by logging into your Patreon account, or delivered directly to your email inbox.
So, without further ado, here’s what patrons can look forward to in August, along with all the content from previous months.
Behind the Scenes (Tier #1) 25 DKK per month (about $4 USD + tax)
One chapter every Sunday of the month until the end of 2023.
Seasonal (Tier #2) 60 DKK per month (about $9 USD + tax) includes everything from Tier #1
Behind the Scenes PLUS (Tier #3) 75 DKK per month (about $11 USD + tax) includes everything from Tier #2
“coming soon” to Seasonal and Behind the Scenes PLUS!
Typically, stories in tier #1 (Behind the Scenes) have been previously published.
Some tier #2 (Seasonal) stories have been published, but most are new with tonnes more on the way. Seasonal is also the tier to choose for upcoming advent stories delivered to your inbox during the festive season(s).
Stories in tier #3 (Behind the Scenes PLUS) are all original and written specifically for that tier, mostly because tier #3 patrons are okay with some experimentation!
I’m having so much fun on Patreon and enjoy the interaction with Patrons. I am also humbled by the support and inspired to write even more stories, often pushing boundaries with patrons’ encouragement!
Phew, that’s all for now.
