This might be one of those specialist interest posts, but here are a few of the really important buildings/structures in Qaanaaq, starting with the supermarket (above).

Not much more to say about the photos. It was a grey August day in Qaanaaq. However, I do remember a visiting Dane (in Uummannaq) teasing me about the use of the word ‘the’, as if there was only one of everything. Well… there was. 😉
