This series was born out of frustration, written in frustration, and has developed into a pet project with an alternative timeline featuring Constable David Maratse.
All that frustration stems from a flippant political statement about buying Greenland for the sake of Arctic strategic interests, ignoring the fact that Greenland is its own country with its own people, history, traditions, and culture.
In the Guerrilla Greenland timeline, Maratse interacts with other characters differently than he does in the main series of novels and novellas. The book most closely connected with the Guerrilla Greenland series is Narkotika, featuring Inniki Rasmussen.
To date, the series includes the following and future novellas:
Guerrilla Greenland novella #3 (XX pages)
The third installment in the Guerrilla Greenland series of novellas inspired by real events, spun into a fictitious story featuring characters from the Greenland Crime series of novels and Narkotika.
Arctic Rising continues the stand-alone speculative storyline begun in Arctic State, set in Greenland in the near future.
Guerrilla Greenland novella #2 (90 pages)
Tasked with subduing pockets of rebellious Greenlanders in remote locations, Constable David Maratse must choose between encouraging compliancy and inspiring revolt, before the country that he loves unravels.
Arctic Rebel continues the stand-alone speculative storyline begun in Arctic State, set in Greenland in the near future.
Guerrilla Greenland novella #1 (74 pages)
When a Greenlandic woman is arrested for failing to comply with the new rules and regulations, Constable David Maratse takes her into custody, before more stringent measures are applied.
Arctic State is a speculative stand alone novella set in Greenland in the near future.
