Our dogs and me learned the hard way, learning day by day. But every now and again I went out with the locals.
I tried to absorb everything. But everything can be a lot. 😉
I remember this trip as being that time I really thought it was all over. Meaning we went out on very thin ice, when the metal end of the ice staff was too heavy, so Hans used the soft wooden end instead. Hmm, now when have I used that in my stories? Maratse, I’m looking at you!
No pictures of me putting my feet through the ice – I was too busy clinging to the sledge!
